                   Beatriz Gomez Anzaldua is Mexican artist living in Saskatoon, Canada. 

She was born in Brownsville, Texas on the Mexican border. She was inspired to paint at an early age by her mother Nerea Anzaldua who is local artist in the Rio Grande Valley. She enjoys painting human figure, and abstract genre with acrylic  mixed media and oil.   She studied International Commerce in the Universidad de Monterrey.  In Monterrey she also  studied  painting, drawing, and sculpture courses  with various  important artists in the community. She also studied different art courses in  New York City  at the School of Visual Arts and The Art League Students of New York. In 2010 she moved to Saskatoon,Canada, where she continues to be involved in the art community. She belongs to the Bridge City Artist of Saskatoon.
